Just-a-dream Farm - Gill, Massachusetts

We're Keith and Colleen Lilly of Just-a-dream Farm in Gill. We started farming
30 years ago and have raised three daughters, Heather, Jennifer, and
Kristin. All the girls participated in 4-H and Keith was the leader for 10
years. Keith originally grew up on the home farm in Ashfield, a farm that
has been in the family for over 200 years. He met Colleen at University of
Massachusetts, she being a city girl from Connecticut but always dreamed of
having a farm. Her dream became a reality when they started Just-a-dream farm
in 1981. The farm in Gill along with land in Ashfield brings their total
acres to 270 with 110 acres being permanently preserved to always be in
agriculture.

Although we no longer milk cows we continue to raise dairy replacements and
house our remaining milk cows at Sunbrite farm in Bernardston.

In the spring, we sell our composted cow manure to local gardeners and in
late summer, you will find us showing our calves at the Franklin County
Fair, where we hope you will stop and see us. Do stop by the farm too and
you will be greeted by Colleen's Morgan horse Meg and Jenn's fainting goat
Guenevere.
